Aerial Yoga uses a specialty hammock as a tool to help students practice and hold various asanas (yoga postures). The weight of the student’s body can be either partially or fully supported by the hammock (up to 500lbs).
Aerial Yoga has a strong emphasis on asanas, pranayama (breathing), and meditation. Students will begin to immediately feel improvement in their flexibility, strength and alignment, leading to better posture and other healthy changes, both physical and psychological.
